How good you think you are or how badly you see yourself doesn’t affect His goodness towards you
When you ask Him a question the answer has a ‘yes’ in it. However that means how you receive the answer is His prerogative. It may come in such a way you were not expecting or along a path that you weren’t planning to walk down. It is likely at a time not of your choosing. Don’t dictate the how, when and where.
Remember that how you feel towards yourself is not a barometer of how He feels towards you. Be aware that the attitude of your heart is not an indicator of His. Your behaviour does not affect His behaviour, He does not react to you like other people do. The degree of your love and passion for Him has no bearing on the extent of His love and compassion for you. How good you think you are or how badly you see yourself doesn’t affect His goodness towards you. It just determines how much you enjoy Him.
