William Booth once said… “The chief danger that confronts the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, heaven without hell.”
Don’t let that become true. You are His ambassador to this world. whether at school, at home or at work. Whatever your role, function, position or job – make sure you know His heart right where you are each and every day. If you are not sure ask Him. Wait until you hear, it is the single most important thing you can do, He is waiting for you. Keep asking, keep seeking and keep knocking.
Give Him your all, your heart, your affection and your undivided attention. When it gets hard keep on giving to Him, keep on yielding to Him. He said it would be glorious. He never said it would be easy but it will be worth it because He thinks you’re worth it.
It is so brilliant getting to know what Jesus is really like. He is more than a historical figure. More than a character in a book. More than a religious icon. He is the creator of heaven and earth and He knows you so well. The same person who spoke the universe into being is not embarrassed to call you a friend. His ambition is to make His church into a glorious bride. One that will wow the world.
Give Him credit that He knows what He is doing. He has never made a mistake. He has never got it wrong and He is not likely to do so. You were never a mistake. You were never plan B.
You may be someone important in the world’s eyes or you may not but whichever it is He has a divine purpose for you. Don’t despise the day of small beginnings because you will grow into something great in the fulness of time just don’t give up. Before the seed grows it first has to die. Then against all the odds it pushes through the soil. Down go the roots and up goes the stem and leaves. Before long an acorn becomes a great forest.
Although much can happen in an instant, it usually doesn’t all happen over night. It takes time for an acorn to become a forest. Just like the acorn you have great potential. Have a 100 year plan for your life and legacy.
He made you to be strong but sensitive. He has not called you to stay an acorn but become a mighty oak tree. Find your destiny. Find your heavenly purpose. Believe in it and then live it to the full. Be a sign that makes people wonder. You lack nothing for He has provided everything you could ever need. He has planned this well ahead. There is nothing missing or lacking. Nothing wasted. You were born for such a time as this. Now go and live it.
